Algebra 2 Honors
Math is a subject that everyone has to take at Sanborn. You need to take at least three different math classes to graduate. Algebra two is a class that most students take and it can be the last math class that you need if you took Algebra one and Geometry before it. Not everyone who takes Algebra two will be in honors. You need to be more advanced and be able to do harder work. Honors involves harder tests, classwork and more information.
You can't choose to be in an honors class. You either need to have taken the math class before it in honors or do very well in the math class before it that you need more challenging work. Even though it's an honors class you still get the same amount of credits that you would get in regular Algebra two. So don't worry if you're not in honors because you get the same amount of credits.
